Ballantrae Golf Club is a semi-private golf course located in Pelham, just four miles east of I-65. Designed by Bob Cupp, this links style course meanders through a scenic valley, surrounded by gorgeous southern woodlands and breathtaking views. Ballantrae Golf Club won national accolades in Golf Digest as the Best New Affordable Public Golf course in 2005 and as one of the Top 50 Courses for Women by Golf for Women Magazine in 2005.
Ballantrae has hosted the Alabama Open four times since 2006. The Alabama Open is an annual tournament that features the top amateur and professional golfers in the state. The course offers five different tee settings ranging from a fun course for juniors, seniors and women of 5,166 yards to a walloping 7,310 yards for the long-hitting, low handicap golfer. We also have a twenty-acre practice center and offer individual and group instruction provided by our PGA professional staff. Our clubhouse features a pro shop, grill and dining area, fireside room and locker rooms for members and guests.
Ballantrae allows only a limited number of club memberships and currently has a waiting list. To be placed on the waiting list please complete the Membership Agreement and submit along with the $300 deposit.
